Where: Schroeder’s, 240 Front Street, between California and Sacramento. We'll gather up front by the bar.
Who: All are welcome but you are encouraged to bring a can of food to donate to the Food Bank. Please feel free to bring others and share this invite. A few special guests may stop by, but there's no formal program - just celebrating campaigns, elections and policy debates with citywide political junkies and those who love them.
Schroeder's has a full bar and dinner menu. We'll have a couple of Large Party Sausage Platters available to get things started.
With the November election behind us, we can look to the holidays and toast another year passing and a New Year coming. This past year, City Democratic Club hosted its usual eclectic selection of city figures; most notably Supervisor and Board President David Chiu, Senator Mark Leno, Public Defender Jeff Adachi, Supervisor David Campos, and City Assessor Phil Ting.
City Democratic Club member David Latterman appeared as well to present his spot-on analysis of the November elections and educated speculation on the 2010 races. Indeed, 2010 will be a busy political year and and highlight the importance of San Francisco's political clubs in the election process.
