An Evening With D7 Supervisor Norman Yee, Thursday 4/18

Carrying on its tradition of hosting new Supervisors, City Democratic Club is pleased to present an evening with Supervisor Norman Yee.
After two terms on the Board of Education, ultimately serving as its president, Yee was elected to the Board of Supervisors last year and seated in January. While he's often regarded as a progressive, he stands for fiscal solvency, supports economic growth, and recognizes that small businesses drive our economy.

Yee is a third-generation San Franciscan and a product of San Francisco public schools. He has lived in Westwood Park, near City College, for 25 years. He and his wife have two daughters, also public school attendees.

When: Thursday, April 18, 7:30pm
Where: Chancellor Hotel, Clipper Room (433 Powell St. between Sutter and Post)
How: Adjacent Muni lines: 3, 8X, 38, 30, 45, cable cars. The Powell Street BART/Muni station is a 10-15 minute walk away, as are Market and Mission street lines.

Board elections: Are your dues current?

The membership will also vote on the club's Executive Board for 2013-2014. In order to vote, dues need to be current. For those who were members last year, dues can be paid up to, or on, the date of the meeting.

Looking ahead

The club will be dark in May, but we have something exciting in the works for a June weekend. Stay tuned for details.
